Marcelle Hanselaar was born and educated in the Netherlands, but lived and travelled extensively in the Far and Middle East before settling in London where she has lived and worked for many years now.
She started out as an oil painter but has become over the years increasingly well-known as one of the finest printmakers of her generation.
