The artist Mohammed Joha, was born in Gaza – Palestine- 1978.
Since 1995, the artist has been working in the field of painting and over the years, he has gathered a remarkable artistic experience. Very individual, strong, expressive artistic means characterize his paintings today, which stand out for an excellent, spontaneous style.
In 2003, he graduates in Art Education at the Al-Aqsa University in Gaza, in 2004; he wins the “Hassan Al Hourani Young Artist Award” of the A M Qattan Foundation and is elected Artist of the Year.
This allows him to reside in the “Cité Internationale des Arts” in Paris in 2005 and in 2008, where he develops and strengthens his artistic personality. His work includes, also installations, photography, and video art. Participation in many local and international exhibitions and workshops. The artist lives currently in Italy.
