Fatmaa AlZahraa

Fatmaa AlZahraa is a visual artist from Egypt. She believes her roots belong to the south, a place where she feels peaceful and safe. Having lived most of her life in Cairo, the wild old city has always inspired her more than anything else. She studied art, and has exhibited her work in Cairo – Egypt, Berlin, Leipzig and Bochum in Germany and Kuwait. Art for Fatmaa AlZahraa is like therapy, a magical path to happiness and peace of mind.

Her soul has been rescued by the lovely little paws that keep running around her house. She believes that in her previous life she was a whale who loved to sing.
