As the global pandemic has halted all group activities and forced us all into our homes, Intisar Foundation adopted new and creative ways to continue supporting our beneficiaries during these stressful and difficult times. After discontinuing our field work, we have stayed in touch with our beneficiaries with at home exercises created by our Drama Therapists sent to them over their phones.
Those exercises come in two forms, recorded audio messages and short videos that showcase the activity. We have also held weekly one-on-one phone calls provided by our team to continue a sense of solidarity with the women. Finally, we started holding virtual sessions via video call. These sessions are 1-hour long, host between 3 to 5 beneficiaries at a time, and are designed specifically to be possible for at-home implementation.
Intisar Foundation is committed to continue its efforts in providing psychological support to refugee and disadvantaged women across Lebanon and Jordan
